Which is stronger — the liquid triple extract or the cryo-powder?
These forms complement rather than replace one another:
🟣 The triple extract provides a high concentration of isolated active fractions.
🟣 The –196 °C cryo-powder offers the full natural spectrum of compounds in a highly bioavailable form.
Many users choose to combine both formats to access the broadest range of natural mushroom constituents.
Which parts of the mushrooms do you use?
We use only fruiting bodies — no grain mycelium, no fillers, no additives.
This ensures a clean natural profile and stable composition.
Why is cryo-powder better than regular mushroom powder?
Cryogenic milling at –196 °C:
🟣 prevents oxidation,
🟣 preserves heat-sensitive active compounds,
🟣 breaks down structures for better absorption,
🟣 retains the full natural spectrum of constituents.
Studies show that the bioavailability of cryo-powder is significantly higher than that of conventional powders — and even many extracts.
Do your products undergo laboratory testing, and do they contain any prohibited orpsychoactive substances?
Yes. All BOHEMYCO products undergo regular laboratory testing according to EU quality and safety standards. Each batch is checked for:
🟣 heavy metals,
🟣 microbiological contaminants,
🟣 absence of mold toxins,
🟣 compliance with organic certification requirements.
Our production follows HACCP principles, ensuring strict control at every stage.
BOHEMYCO products contain no psychoactive or prohibited substances, including psilocybin.
The mushrooms we use (Reishi, Chaga, Lion’s Mane, Shiitake) are fully legal edible fungi long used in Eastern wellness traditions and naturopathic systems.
Can I take several mushrooms at once?
Yes.
Combining mushrooms is common in Eastern traditions and modern biohacking.
Examples:
🟣 Chaga + Reishi — for stability and balance,
🟣 Lion’s Mane + Shiitake — for tone and mental clarity.
Simply follow recommended dosages.
Which mushroom should beginners start with?
Most beginners choose:
🟣 Reishi — for internal balance,
🟣 Chaga — for resilience and natural resource,
🟣 Lion’s Mane — for focus and concentration,
🟣 Shiitake — for overall vitality.
All four are suitable for daily wellness rituals.
How long can I take mushrooms?
Functional mushrooms are traditionally used in long cycles.
A common schedule: 6 weeks of use → 1 week break → repeat.
When is it better to take mushrooms — morning or evening?
It depends on the mushroom:
🟣 Lion’s Mane — morning or daytime,
🟣 Chaga — any time,
🟣 Reishi — often in the evening as a calming ritual,
🟣 Shiitake — any time.
The key is consistency.
What is the difference between “functional” and “medicinal” mushrooms?
“Medicinal mushrooms” is a scientific term. In EU consumer communication, the term “functional mushrooms” is used to highlight natural composition and traditional use.
What do your extracts taste like?
🟣 Chaga — woody, slightly vanilla (due to vanillic acid),
🟣 Reishi — slightly bitter and earthy,
🟣 Lion’s Mane — mild, herbal-wood,
🟣 Shiitake — rich mushroom flavor.
Our liquid extracts naturally taste slightly sweet despite containing no sugar. This sweetness comes from pharmaceutical-grade glycerin — a safe, odorless polyol widely used as a gentle preservative. It interacts with taste receptors so the brain perceives sweetness even without sugar.
Extracts mix well with water, juice, or tea.
Why do you grow mushrooms on oak–beech substrate?
Because this is the natural wood these mushrooms grow on in the wild.
It provides:
🟣 the correct biomolecular profile,
🟣 clean, stable raw material,
🟣 consistent quality.
We use PEFC/FCA-certified wood substrate.
Are your products suitable for vegans?
Yes.
The entire BOHEMYCO line is:
🟣 100% plant-based,
🟣 free from animal ingredients,
🟣 encapsulated in vegetarian capsules.
Can I add cryo-powder to hot drinks?
Yes.
Cryo-powder is heat-stable. You can:
🟣 brew it,
🟣 add it to coffee, tea, smoothies,
🟣 use it in cooking.
Traditional Chaga chunks require 8–12 hours of steeping, but cryo-powder is instantly usable without brewing.
Why is combining extract + cryo-powder beneficial?
Extract → concentrated active fractions.
Cryo-powder → full natural spectrum.
Together they deliver a broader range of natural compounds — the approach considered optimal in biohacking.
Where is your product made?
All BOHEMYCO products are produced fully in Europe:
🟣 cultivation — Czech Bohemia,
🟣 Chaga sourcing — Finnish Lapland,
🟣 processing, extraction, and cryo-milling — Czech Republic.
What is triple extraction?
Triple extraction uses:
🟣 water,
🟣 alcohol (fully removed from the final product),
🟣 glycerin.
This method extracts both polar and non-polar fractions.
Is it safe to combine mushrooms with vitamins?
Yes — functional mushrooms are often part of comprehensive wellness routines.
If you take prescription medications, consult your doctor for individual guidance.
Why is there such a difference in quality between brands?
Quality depends on:
🟣 which part of the mushroom is used (we use only fruiting bodies),
🟣 substrate quality,
🟣 ecology of the region,
🟣 drying methods,
🟣 presence or absence of grain mycelium,
🟣 extraction method,
🟣 laboratory testing.
BOHEMYCO products follow pharmaceutical-grade processes with batch-by-batch control.
Are your mushroom products safe for children and pregnant women?
Currently, there is insufficient scientific evidence to confirm the safety of mushroom supplements for children or for pregnant / breastfeeding women. There fore, we do not recommend our extracts for these groups. Consult your doctor for personalized advice.
Are your products organic?
Yes. All BOHEMYCO products are made from certified organic raw materials.
Our mushrooms are grown in the pristine region of Czech Bohemia on organic oak–beech substrate.
In liquid formulas we use organic glycerin and pure Czech water — famous for its purity and considered one of the secrets behind the legendary quality of Czech beer.
This ensures maximum purity and transparency in every product.
What is the shelf life of your products, and how should they be stored?
BOHEMYCO products have a shelf life of 2–3 years, depending on the product type (see packaging for exact date).
Storage recommendations:
🟣 Liquid extracts: after opening, store in a cool place — preferably refrigerated — and use within 1 month.
🟣 Cryo-powders & capsules: store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Proper storage ensures full quality throughout the product’s lifespan.
Does Chaga contain harmful oxalates?
Chaga does contain oxalates — as do spinach, rhubarb, beets, and nuts.
However:
🟣 A daily serving of Chaga is 0.5–1.5 g,
🟣 A serving of spinach is 100–150 g,
🟣 Chaga contains ~5–14 g per 100 g oxalates,
🟣 Spinach, rhubarb, and similar greens contain 500 mg–3 g per 100 g.
The dose makes the difference between nutrient, remedy, and toxin.
At recommended daily amounts, Chaga oxalates do not pose a meaningful load for the body.
